Private lessons offer customized instruction in a one-on-one setting.

Let’s work together to meet your wellness goals with private lessons. Each one-on-one session is an hour long and is planned according to your goals and needs. Past one-on-one sessions with me have helped students with: increasing mobility, chronic pain management, anxiety reduction, recovery from injury, getting back into practice after surgery and starting a yoga practice as a complete beginner.

What will you gain from private yoga lessons?

Private lessons help new students gain confidence in themselves and understand the mechanics of yoga poses. With individual feedback, I am able to help you modify each pose in a way that suits your body and take as much time as you need to learn. We go at YOUR pace and may use props, such as blocks, a strap and/or a chair, to tailor the yoga poses to you instead of trying to force your body into shapes that don’t feel good. It’s your lesson—you decide what you’re feeling, whether it’s a slow, meditative and restorative practice, a flowing practice with lots of deep stretching or an upbeat practice chock-full of strength building moves—and I will be your guide.

One-on-one sessions are also great for long-time students who want to advance their yoga practice. Maybe you’d like to take your practice to the next level and learn poses we haven’t covered in-depth in group classes. If so, private lessons are “made-to-order” sessions where I am happy to teach according to your needs.

Below prices are for lessons in the studio. A small additional fee will be added for the instructor to travel to your home/location.
